Don P Bongwater is the creator, animator, editor, and musician behind The Menace Crew and everything else on the channel. The official YouTube channel description is exactly this: "I make dumb AI shit. I have weird humor. Enjoy." The Twitch bio puts it another way: "I make AI music, videos, and more premium slop."

Everything on the channel is AI-assisted caricature comedy about streamers and YouTubers — with one firm house rule, stated in the Season 1 Omnibus description: "All characters are caricatures of the people that influenced them. I do not do deep fakes for legal and ethical reasons."

The Philosophy

From the Menace Crew 2025 year-in-review (Dec 16, 2025):

"Here's to another year of trash, but it will be vastly improved trash."

And the mission statement, same video: "The one and only thing I care about is that people can laugh at my content and spread joy through wild humor."

Episodes are workshopped live on development streams, where chat suggestions can make it into the final cut — Don has called the result a "community shitpost" more than once, and warns spoiler-averse fans away from dev streams entirely.

Creative direction (creator notes, Jul 2026)

Live first: Kick is daily; YouTube films are tentpole announcements when they drop.
Music: Don writes/releases it himself (Suno → streaming). Games should not invent final scores without him.
SFX flavor for games: PlayStation 1 / N64 era crunch.
Visual moodboard: Prodeus, HEAT, Path of Exile — plus BONGWATER_OS / Win95 shell.
Tone: caricatures stay recognizable from the content; nothing is off-limits for humor.
